Although our winter skating rink was a bit of a bust this year, we look forward to a vibrant spring with some events you might like to know about.
Spring Community Clean up and Pancake brunch:
Saturday April 27th. Arrive to the hall around 10:30am. Spend an hour walking along one of our rural roads doing your part to clean up the environment for our human and animal friends. Come back to the hall for food, coffee and to chat amongst neighbours and to play on the new playground. Fingers crossed for sunshine. Bags and gloves provided but bring your own if you wish.
Spring Kitchen Party: Saturday June 1st 7-11pm
This spring we are featuring a fabulous band Evangeline Gentle. She is a Scottish Canadian internationally acclaimed folk pop songwriter, performer and vocalist based in Ontario. Check her out one IG and FB @evangelinegentlemusic. Don’t miss this one!
Back will be our very popular silent auction table featuring many locally made items as well as items from the garden.

Yoga and Fitness
Our popular yoga classes are up and running. We have 3 yoga classes and one 20/20/20 class. Contact the individual yoga teacher to find out if there is space and to get on next terms list. Yoga classes just began the week of April 25th.

Farm to Table Lunch: June 13 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm
This lunch is hosted by the Municipality of Clarington and has always delivered a delicious locally sourced warm meal served to you at our quaint Haydon Hall. Sign up for this lunch at http://www.clarington.net with the code: 41918. The registration says 55+ but all are welcome!!

“Let Your Pen be Your Voice” is a story writing workshop held at our hall bi-weekly beginning April 9th – June 25th, a total of 6 classes. Classes are $35 each. This program aims to help you explore various facets of your life and share with a community of others like you. Please reach out to Renee Jean at Renee.john@glassceilingenterprises.come for more info. This will be the second round of story writing classes so clearly the first round went well!
